6 (1-ounce) squares semisweet chocolate, chopped

½ cup Splenda® Granulated Sweetener

¼ teaspoon salt

3 tablespoons chocolate syrup

¼ teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

Pour milk in a saucepan; sprinkle gelatin over the top and let stand 1 minute. Cook over low heat, stirring, until gelatin dissolves, about 2 minutes.
Add chocolate and cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until chocolate melts. Remove from heat; let stand 10 minutes.
Add Splenda Sweetener, salt, and chocolate syrup; stir to combine. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, for 2 minutes.
Remove from heat; stir in vanilla and let stand for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Beat on high speed with an electric mixer for 5–8 minutes or until mixture reaches spreading consistency; do not overbeat.
Frost cake or cupcakes immediately.
