Ingredients
For the apple pie topping:
1 large apple, chopped into cubes (skin left on)
1 tablespoon water
1 tablespoon Splenda® Brown Sugar Blend
½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
Pinch of ground cloves
For the oat base:
1 cup unsweetened almond milk or skim milk
¾ cup whole rolled oats
1 teaspoon Splenda® Brown Sugar Blend
1 tablespoon chia seeds
½ scoop vanilla protein powder
For the side of jar:
3 teaspoons unsweetened almond butter
Optional topping:
Toasted walnuts

Instructions
To make the apple pie topping:
In a saucepan or small skillet sprayed with nonstick cooking spray, add chopped apples and water. Cook apples over medium heat for about 6 minutes. Add Splenda Brown Sugar Blend, cinnamon and cloves, cooking just until apples are soft but still firm. Remove from heat and set aside to cool.
To make the oat base:
In a small bowl, add all ingredients for the oats, whisking to combine.
To assemble:
Using two small jars, smear 1 ½ teaspoons of almond butter around the sides of each jar. Divide the oat mixture equally into each jar. Top each jar with the cooked apples. Sprinkle on toasted walnuts if desired.
Refrigerate overnight, and enjoy Apple Pie Overnight Oats as a prepped breakfast with 3 days!
